It is a very famous product and it is obtained from a selection of the best grapes grown on the hills of the ancient area in Classic Valpolicella.
It has got a dried and balanced flavor, a very strong red ruby color and it is brilliant and clear.
Very good with poultry, meat and wild meat.
Inside Cesare Righetti’s winery you can find Ripasso “La Tonega” whose name comes from the type of land where it is grown. “Tonega” in the traditional dialect of Veneto means also the priest’s tunic, in order to remember the same dark color of the earth.
